The lighting design drove the show into a fractured world where the effects of the environment are becoming increasingly clear on earth.

This choreographic piece explored the relationship between negative and positive space, and the interaction between the human form in the Pina Bausch style movement and light. The cyclorama was an important theatrical element that served to create silhouette poses that occurred rhythmically throughout the piece.

This production featured multiple moving and automated scenic pieces with complex masking and set electrics. Media projection onto scenic surfaces included custom animations. The special and atmospheric effects were also under the purview of the lighting design and included multiple CO2 effects, low lying fog, smoke, and haze.
